Bozal présents a very rare festive mezcal, handcrafted in Etla in the state of Oaxaca. Espadin agaves are crushed by hand with wooden mallets, fermented in open vats and distilled in clay stills. The second distillation takes place with the addition of chrysanthemums (cempasuchuil) and mandarin peel in the still, infusing the mezcal with intense floral and fruity notes.
