Maucaillou 2017 vond ik een verrassing. Een goed gemaakte elegante Moulis. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

A juicy and medium fruity red with plums and hints of walnut undertones. Firm tannins and a fresh finish. Nice touch of ripeness to this.

Mid cherry with soft watery rim. The colour looks a little older than 2017. Delicately fragrant – smells a little burgundian. Pretty. Fresh, fine-boned, really delicate and accessible already. A very gentle touch. Endearing. Not sure I ever thought I would say that about Moulis….
