Proefnotities/Punten:
This is a wonderfully attractive young vintage port as it now hits its ninth birthday. So much blackberry, tea, asphalt and stone character. Some wet-earth and mushroom undertones. The palate is full-bodied and medium-sweet, with subtle flavors of licorice, aniseed, cherry and slate. Long finish. Just coming around now but will improve with age.

Cellar Selection* Powerful and dense, this wine exudes the darkest of tannins as well as intense black fruit. Layers of richness and structure show in this Port’s considerable ageability, while its acidity lends freshness. This is a wine that should be aged for 15 years or more.
